1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the DNSZone.io platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid plan holders.
2. Description of Service
DNSZone.io provides the following services:
- DNS hosting and record management
- Reverse proxy with origin IP protection
- Automatic DDoS mitigation (Sensor Mode)
- Bot filtering via Human Challenge (JavaScript proof-of-work)
- Web Application Firewall (WAF) with custom rules — paid plans
- Edge caching — paid plans
- Attack notifications via Discord and/or email
- SSL/HTTPS via Let's Encrypt
DNS hosting is provided free of charge on all plans, permanently. Paid plans unlock additional protection features and higher bandwidth.
3. Acceptable Use
You may only use DNSZone.io to protect and serve domains and infrastructure that you own or are explicitly authorized to manage. The following uses are strictly prohibited:
Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:
- DDoS testing or stress testing — You may not use our infrastructure to send, simulate, or amplify volumetric attacks against any target, including your own servers, using tools such as dstat, hping3, LOIC, HOIC, or similar.
- Intentional network abuse — Generating traffic with the purpose of overwhelming any network, server, or service.
- Malware distribution — Hosting or proxying domains that serve malware, ransomware, trojans, or any other malicious software.
- Phishing and fraud — Using the Service to impersonate organizations, collect credentials under false pretenses, or conduct fraud.
- Illegal content — Hosting or distributing content that is illegal under Dutch law or the law of the user's jurisdiction, including but not limited to CSAM, copyright infringement, and incitement to violence.
- Spam infrastructure — Operating domains used for mass unsolicited email campaigns.
- Cryptocurrency scams — Operating rug pulls, fake exchanges, or deceptive token projects.
- Reselling without permission — Reselling or white-labeling the Service without explicit written permission from DNSZone.io.
Violation of these policies may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund, and may be reported to relevant authorities.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring that all domains added to your account are domains you own or manage
- Promptly notifying us at support@dnszone.io if you suspect unauthorized access
5. Paid Plans
Paid plans (Starter at €10/month, Enterprise at €80/month) are activated manually by DNSZone.io staff after payment confirmation via Discord. Features unlocked by paid plans are described on the pricing page.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us via Discord or email within 7 days of a charge if you believe a billing error has occurred.
6. Service Availability
We aim to provide a high-availability service, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance is announced in our Discord server where possible. DNSZone.io is not liable for damages resulting from service interruptions, including loss of traffic, revenue, or data.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DNSZone.io and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any DDoS attack or other third-party interference that affects your service
- Any errors or omissions in content served through the platform
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us via Discord or email.
Upon termination, your data including DNS records and settings will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and announce significant changes in our Discord server. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
